Durango Colorado Family Trip

We all met in Durango, CO for our family vacation this year. 28 of us now, 10 adults and 18 grandkids! We had so much fun together and I must say we have some of the cutest kids on the planet . . . thanks to our Mom and Dad (the best Grandma and Grandpa ever) we've really got a good thing going.

Okay, where were we?

Mike is 40?

Well he's finally there . . . Mike turned 40 in June. Wow! You'd never know it 'cause he is and always will be just a kid at heart. I just hope he knows how happy he makes me and what a wonderful father he is to our children. Happy 40th sweetheart . . . can't wait for the next 40!

Our cute little Kelton is not so little anymore. He's 3 and growing up way too fast! Kelton loves anything 'cars' and loves to play with water, thus the birthday present above. Kelton is such a fun boy to have around, he is learning to be a good big brother and all of the kids just love having him for a little brother. He has a very cute sense of humor and is always making someone laugh. He is very tender hearted and willing to help those around him. We love our Kelton and we're so glad he is part of our family!

Texas here we come . . .

Mike had a pharmacy convention in San Antonio this year that coincided with the kids Spring Break, so we all went! My brother and his family live there and we have decided that we really like Texas so we headed down for a nice little family vacation. After making it on the airplane with 6 kids we thought we were doing well. We did Seaworld, San Antonio - the Alamo- Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum - playing in the River and in the Texas 'outback' - and had a blast with our cousins. Thanks Anderson family for letting us come visit!

Skiin' and Swimmin' with Cuzzins!

My brother and his family have made it a tradtion to come to Utah over spring break for a ski trip. This year we took Kelton for the 1st time. He did amazingly well. The other kids are getting so good now that I can't keep up enough to even take their picture. This is at Wolf Creek Resort in Eden, UT in March. We had a ball and can't wait to do it again next year.

After a couple of days of skiing we headed south to Lehi and took all the kids swimming. I'm not sure which they enjoyed more the skiin' or the swimmin'!

We love our cousins and have a blast with them what ever we do!

Our Abbee turned 9 in March. I can't believe she is this old. She is such a beautiful young lady who loves art, gymnastics, skiing, and anything 'girly'. What a joy she is to have in our family - she add's that special something only a princess can. Abbee is so smart and is always (well almost always) willing to help out her mom and dad. She is an awesome babysitter and getting prettier every day! Happy birthday sis - We sure love you!
